There is no denying that justice remains elusive to the victims of Bhopal Gas that has been overlooked for twenty seven years. It is very naive on the part of those who think that boycotting the Olympics would serve the goal achieving justice and tarnished Dow Chemicals. Those responsible have been let off lightly and long forgotten disaster that claimed thousands of lives. However it is crucial that we do not forget to take initiatives that will directly benefit have been affected by it. State Governments must closely work with NGOS to ensure that the compensation and rehabilitation measures reach the victims.
